Tuesday 3rd. Played ball. Enjoyed myself after a fashion. We all thought we would have by this time been in Brooklyn. The weather is pleasant plans not fixed, so we eat and okay. Wednesday 4th Played ball in new Utrecht. Home late for supper. Yesterday or today need. Letter from Aunt Sue including $7, which is so badly , surely, most certainly, needed. Windy. Thursday 5th Read letter from G. OG away to Brooklyn. on 826 Dummy. Thence to Paterson. Rained till about 3. Union vs Lafayette. Latter won 23 to 13. Had a air cut a shave, my first pair of shoes in 13 months, a pair in a part of my body. a long ride to and dreary work from St. Hamilton. Papa in Brooklyn all night. I feel badly. Friday 6th Rather pleasant day. Spent the first week day at home for a long time. Wore a white shirt first home since 5th or 6th of September rained in evening. Mary Is in Badgers. Saturday 7th High wind; otherwise pleasant weather. Papa home all day. He and Mary had a quarrel. Strange to say. I kept out of it. She was going to the city and he said "no". Game of ball at prospect park ball grounds union vs arbing tons of Stapleton. S. L. former won 12 to 2. Walked home as far as New Utrecht. Belle and Pauline Sullivan spent the evening here. Papa sick during the night. Myself peculiarly sick Sunday 8th Dada, Dan kelly, Sam Soloman, and emma Fuedlibep spent the evening here. Also Belle Pauline and Mr. Hogan. I did not feel interested so I soon left. Enna, Dan and Dada stayed all night. We have wood fires now. Still peculiarly troubled.To bed quite late Monday 9th Kelly dada papa and Fueddebes away. Wrote part of a long letter to Aunt Jin. Subject - Mary Rob. Papa way all night. Cold outside blazing wood fire within. Mrs. Badjer, mrs Sullivan and two daughter _____ Mr and Mrs. Small spent the evening here. We had Checker, cards, the wheel of life, chocolate, talk. Tuesday 10th The folks away from bath for good in the 12:26 dummy. I saw them off. Many to the city. Wrote to Aunt sue, mailed my letter in afternoon. Read letter from D.V.D. Passed on a lovely time most of the day. Weather beautiful. to bed late. Wednesday 11 Papa away, all night. To the post office. Mailed letter to G. OG. Pleasent day. i have not played ball since last saturday. reason, no one to play with. Our old ground is being plunged up.
