Saturday 8th Mazie came down to spend some days here. Brosher here all night. I plumped around till late [blank] much earlier [blank] usual. Ellen Wilbe [&] [blank] to Wallacks: We had driven to of Clark's opposite. Willie [&] Ellen [blank] Bath. Self on night [blank] after insiting [insighting] Court and [blank] little. Very tired. Wall[blank] [blank] sheet half as keep. Saulimet oysters, Hill [blank].

Sunday 9th Pretty hard to remember what [blank] [blank] today. Brosher stayed all night. [blank][blank] came [&] went: Mazie [&] I drived in parlor Brosher [&] [blank] in [blank]. Papa with eyes [&] ear open poking [blank] [&] tried 3 of [blank]. Court [blank] by Brewer. To Bath [blank] 12. Mr. F [blank]. Helfenstein [&] a her. [blank] made visit of [blank] hours. Papa [blank] entertaining.

Monday 10th Late to bed late to rise. That's the way little [blank] time flies. Have nothing much to blackguard today for. So not know if I invited Court or not. [blank][blank] did it. Played billiards instead. Seven or eight games. His [blank] buy another when I discounted [&] fumble discounted. Mazie being around seems like [blank] times. [blank][blank] by other people when Mazie cares to please when I don't make matters disagreeable [&] not at all satisfactory. Still we manage to have a few minutes to talk by ourselves.

Tuesday 11th Left bath at late hour as I now do is 2[1/2] or 3. I [blank] there was something in 57th St. except Brewer slightly under influence in Schwart's. I put him on horse car. Then to Bath. Spent the evening with Mazie. Miss Polinson [blank] [&] [blank] about [blank] people's affairs. [blank] Mazie [blank] $5 of the $20 she lent me. Pleasant weather is once more upon us. Expensive lookup.

Wednesday 12th [blank][blank] by Brewer. Played ball [&] were beaten by [blank][blank]. All day [blank] to [blank] playing [&] [blank]. Left [blank] by 10 arrived back about [blank] time. I drank seven [blank] beers in [blank] after game and became brewery [&] talk alive in [blank]. I did like [blank][blank] [&] knew it at the time. [blank][blank]. Look [blank] pull of whiskey.
