November, Monday, 2. 1874
Reading. T.B.B. called. Played billiards. Walked. Mamma suffering very much indeed.
Tuesday, 3.
Up half past ten. Election day. From 8 till 12 P.M. looking at returns. Brooklyn Democratic. Mamma suffering greatly.
Wednesday, 4.
Up late. T.B.B. called in afternoon. Took supper with us. Marie Williams and Fannt called. Out in evening with T.B.B. Saw some negroes play on instruments. Received a letter a postal card and paper.
Thursday, 5.
Walked with T.B.B. four miles.
Friday, 6.
T.B.B. called. I wrote to Fitterton and Bennett. Postal card from Riterton. To Olympic with Hornet. Enjoyed myself. Wrote to M.H.W.
Saturday, 7.
Hornet to Bath. Returned about 8. To Washington Market with him. Taken in by a ham man. T.B.B. called. Played billiards.
Sunday, 8.
To 10 1/2 Mass. Sermon good, voice poor, inflection improper. Dada here.
Monday, 9.
Spent day with T.B.B. + R.H.S. Played billiards. Sent letter to J.V.S. Mary's birthday. Postal card from Boys' Herald. Mary Berius called. Yesterday Papa to Bath.
Tuesday, 10.
Up about nine. Letter from Fitterton. Spent morning with T.B.B. and R.H.S. Passed afternoon with Mamma. Read Kent. To bed 12.
Wednesday, 11.
Up before eight. Received letter from Frank Nealon.
Thursday, 12.
Wrote to Nealon. To Nameless Club Rooms. Played billiards.

To Nameless Club Rooms. Played billiards.
Saturday, 14.
Wrote to Aunt Jen. Letter from Prof. Phillips. At Nameless C.R. Morning and afternoon. Mamma looking better. To market.

Letters from Aunt Jen and J.V.L. Read Kent. Brown and T.B.B. called. Mamma looking poorly and wandering. Played billiards.
