Friday 26 A pleasant day Papa and the plumbers at work find myself still indulging in late hours. To bed last night near one. Up this morning about 8:30. I did not feel in good spirits today. Played cards in the evening.

Yesterday I sent a letter to Bishop Corrigan asking for the degree of m.a. Mary rob spent the evening with miss Maggie young. I played cards with Johnny Hornet add Mary Harrison. Las. Irwin called

To 8:00 o'clock mass. During the day I saw the wreckage and some call his friends. Also Pearl.bonice and s waters. Monnday 29
Miss Williams and miss brown her sister called
Tuesday 30 spent some hours with Gus wreckage. Mary to the city to be gone a few days. Play the game of billiards with wreckage was beaten. After supper aunt Mary and I walked to post office. I played ball a little while on my way home I met Louisa waters ends a cousin(lady). I was in introduced to the stranger and I accompanied the ladies to their house and limited myself to sit on the front stoop and have a chat with them the cousin was a great talker. She used bad grammar frequently and evidently had a good opinion of herself. I left when it was near 10. I found Papa asleep the downstairs books. And aunt Mary reading. Wednesday 31 Papa away all night I destroyed 1000 potato cups in the morning and afternoon. Played cards all night long to bed by 2. Received a letter from Corrigan denying me the great privilege of the degree of a.m Thursday June 1 house cleaning commenced. Papa arrived home about 1:30. At supper big Kate became aggressive and made Papa angry. To post office and then I played ball a little while. Played cards for half an hour. Friday June 2 Papa spent the night with miss Williams and Mary in New York looking over some old papers before using them to light the fires. Play cards with Hornets Jamison and Mary Harrison. We played 16 games neither side won we retired about 1. Since my learning ----------- I have spent day and night without going away from the neighborhood of our house except on the occasions noticed above.

aunt Mary to Williamsburg. Papa and Mary rob home. I looked over more newspapers I needed a shave so with a razor strip and brush formally Pappas but which I now appropriate I became Barber for the time being and improved my wild appearance Sunday 4 . did not go to church saw miss s. waters Dick Sullivan called in afternoon he took tea with us and went home in a severe rain storm. He wore my overcoat and took a Robinson umbrella that sort of 1 ornamental nothing else. Monday 5 quiet day. I walked on the beach. House cleaning. Mary is alright Tuesday 6 yesterday and today have been distinguished for beautiful moonlight evenings Mary rob out driving with miss young. Papa and Mary Hornets and Mary Harrison out in the evening. I received a long letter from Maggie in the evening. I walked to commons and back.
